When did you start taking digital photos?

It’s been about 14 years for me.

I’ve got tens of thousands of them tucked away on my hard drive…

…and backed up of course!

Many of which I could have deleted at the time they were taken…

…duplicates, rubbish shots…

And many of which are full of love and happiness.

Holidays, family gatherings, weddings, parties, birthdays, walks, wildlife in my garden…

Last week, I committed to going through my digital photos

…partly to delete the ones I don’t need…

…but mostly to see what gems I find.

Decluttering doesn’t have to be a horrid job that you do simply to fend off overwhelm.

It can be a joy.

There’s no rush to this task.

I’m doing it as and when.

It’s a nice way to distract myself for a few minutes when my mind needs a rest from something else I’m doing.

And it’s helping me work out what to share with you…

…in my upcoming Udemy video course.

How to organise your photos…

…so you know where they are…

…so you can find the ones you want…

…so you’ve got room to store them all…

…so you know they’re SAFE.
