Feelin’ good?

Happy New Year!!

I know it’s a week late but this is my first mailing of 2019. so humour me?

My current earworm is Nina Simone’s “Feeling Good“.

That’s Ms Simone above.

(You knew that, right?)

I love that song. And it’s apposite for a new year, no?

“It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, it’s a new life for me and I’m feelin’ good!”

How are you feeling right now?

Are you energised and ready to live an organised and clutter-free life?

Are you anti-climactic after Christmas and feeling fat, broke and jaded?

Are you, “Meh! New year, schnooyear. What’s the difference?

Did you make a new year’s resolution that, this year, you are REALLY going to take on your clutter?

This year, there’ll be no holding back.

You’re gonna BLITZ the place.

Watch out clutter mountain – your days are numbered!

Good for you, if you did…

…and if you didn’t.

Because, here’s the thing.

It’s all very well making a resolution.

In the moment when we say it, it feels completely real.

We’re inspired and fired up and we KNOW we’re going to keep it.

And then real life comes crashing back in.

And all the things that have got in the way of you decluttering in the past…

…get in the way again.

We break our resolution…

usually within two weeks.

So is resolving to get organised pointless?

Of course not.

Let’s make 2019 the year your home starts to support your life.

>>Also read this post with two questions you need to ask to keep your new year’s resolution<<

But here’s my advice…

Take it easy!

Absolutely, tackle your clutter in 2019.

When your home works, your life works!

So why WOULDN’T you declutter and get organised?!

Just take it one step at a time.

It’s a marathon, not a sprint.

Don’t expect to transform your home in a matter of days – or one weekend!

Find a regular slot in your week…

…and get organised slowly and steadily.

Create a HABIT of decluttering.

Gradually, gradually, your home will transform…

…and your LIFE will transform.

AND, you’ll KEEP the clutter at bay!

And that’ll REALLY feel good!
